I haven’t been buying to many new products lately, trying to save money (and space!). I like to try and really use my make up and beauty collection though, so each month I usually have a mix of old and new. This month is no different! I’ve got some great summer products to share with you today that I loved over the month of June!
NARS Orgasm and Laguna Duo
Gosh, I’ve mentioned this in my favorites too many times, but I just love it so much! Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer were MADE for each other. After applying foundation, I put a little bronzer and blush on from this palette and I look like a million bucks. I’m running low on the Laguna side, so when it runs out I’m going to toss the whole palette (it’s getting old). But I will DEFINITELY buy another one!
Essie Butler Please Nail Polish
Oh Essie….Essie, Essie, Essie. I love the colors I really do. Butler Please is the best color ever. So blue, so eye catching, so fun, and yet it goes with everything some how. I find Butler Please to not be the best formula, it does chip on me quite quick, but I love it anyway. I wore this for a week this June and got SO many compliments!
PUR Hydra Fluid Foundation
It took me a few months, but I finally got the application down for the Pur Hydra Fluid Serum Foundation. A little goes a long way, and I kept applying too much! This is a great foundation for natural days because it evens out my skin tone, but doesn’t look or feel too heavy on the skin. It doesn’t cover everything, so I go in with a little concealer where I need it. I love it for summer because it lets my tan show.
L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Contour
I only used this a few times, but each time I fell more in love. Not as much love as the already mentioned NARS duo, but pretty close. This palette from L’Oreal comes with a contour shade and highlight shade. I like that the contour isn’t too dark, so it’s easy to blend and layer. The highlight is a light, champagne shade, not too shimmery so it’s easy to work with. This is great for travel because it’s so light weight. The pan size is a tad small, so careful with what brush you use!
Trish McEvoy No. 9 Blackberry & Vanilla Musk Perfume
I finally splurged and bought myself a new perfume. Well, actually an old perfume, this was my favorite back in high school! No.9 from Trish McEvoy is the most delicious blackberry and vanilla scent. I think it’s a unique scent, but could be loved by a lot of people. I only wish it lasted a little longer on me throughout the day.
Derma E Microdermabrasion Scrub
I love to scrub my face. My large pores love it too. I use the Avalon Organics Lavender scrub a few times a week, but I’ve added this Microdermabrasion scrub from Derma E into the mix. I use it mostly on my nose and chin where my pores get super clogged. It helps get the gunk out making my skin appear smoother and clearer. I’m having my boyfriend use it too to help with acne scars on his cheeks, he loves it!
