Empties time! Happy to open up my trash bag and see I used up lots of goodies this month! I feel like I always have so many empties and yet my bathroom is still full of products! I haven’t been buying anything new, only things I need when I run out. I’m putting a hold on purchasing make up and skincare products because I want to save money for goodies in my new apartment!
Jason Quick Clean Make Up Remover Wipes
I don’t use make up removing wipes anymore, they aren’t the best for skin OR the environment. I like to have something like that on hand though for when I just NEED my make up off quick, or removing swatches while taking blog photos. This tiny wipes from Jason lasted me forever and stayed completely wet the WHOLE time. Will definitely repurchase, mostly just for removing swatches.
Aubrey Natural Missst Herbal Hairspray
I try to not use a lot of hairspray because it makes my hair crunchy and tangle like crazy. My hair sure does like to frizz though! This light hold hairspray from Aubrey helped keep my hair in place without making it feel gross. I mostly loved it for the smell, rosemary and mint or something. I usually hate the way hairsprays smell!
Onyx Professional Nail Polish Remover
Not too much to see here, just an acetone nail polish remover. This removed my nail polish like a dream, and didn’t have a super strong alcohol scent. I picked it up from Wal Mart because it was cheap, will probably just pick up another random one now.
Wen Sweet Almond Mint Re Moist Intensive Hair Treatment
My curly, frizzy hair loves moisture, so I like to do a deep conditioning mask every other week or so to keep it healthy. This one from Wen was fine, I found it hydrating, but could have done more for my hair. I like the Sweet Almond Mint scent. It is very thick so it really stays on the hair while in the shower. I have another jar of this in a different scent, so I guess that’s what I’m using next!
Paula’s Choice Resist Daily Smoothing Treatment Sample
In a recent Paula’s Choice order I got a few samples, so I decided to try one out. I got about 3 uses out of this packet. I applied the Daily Smoothing Treatment at night as part of my skin care routine. It felt very luxurious and had a nice scent. It make my skin feel very smooth and look healthy and plump. I might actually pick up the full size, love Paula’s Choice!
Aquolina Pink Sugar Perfume
When I was younger I LOVED the Pink Sugar perfume, and I randomly decided I needed to own it again. It smells like yummy, sugary donuts! I always get compliments when I wear it, but it seems a bit childish to wear everyday. I won’t repurchase, but would maybe get the body lotion or something.
Joe Fresh Nail Polish in Hula
I love love love this shade of pink from Joe Fresh, but I used it the other day and it chipped so fast. It’s just gotten old, so I have to say goodbye. A lot of my nail polish is getting old, so I’m in the process right now of trying to get rid of some. I have a million pink polishes, but this one is just so pretty!
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream Sample
You usually only get a few tries out of a sample packet, but since this is an eye cream, I got over a weeks worth! I’ve used some Clinique skincare before, but was never very impressed, it never did anything noticeable. I liked how quickly the Pep-Start Eye Cream sank into the skin, but my eye area is SO sensitive, and after a few days my pores were getting clogged.
