This may be the latest my favorites has ever gone up! Ugh, what a terrible blogger I am. I usually am so good about getting my empties and favorites up right at the beginning of the month. I’ve been falling behind in the blog lately, but here’s to hoping this is where things turn around. This month’s favorites features some long loved favorites. I haven’t been buying a lot of new items lately, so I’m relying on oldies, but goodies!
Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls
I repurchased a tube of the Pillow Soft Curls from Miss Jessie’s because I decided it was definitely the best curling cream I’d tried in a long time. The product gives my curls moisture to hold onto. With that I have frizz free hair and curls that look like I put twice the time into. When my hair is super clean, it never curls well, no matter what, but on day two and three, I throw this in and let my hair air dry and it always looks great.
Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone SPF 40
With summer now approaching, it’s time to up my SPF game. I wear an SPF 15 cream every morning, but if I know I’m going to actually be in the sun, I definitely need something higher. The Cotz Face Natural Skin Tone is an SPF 40 that has a natural skin tint to it. I actually love to slap it on before heading to the gym because it evens out my skin tone a bit. It’s great for the pool or beach because the SPF protects, but it also gives the skin a better appearance.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume
Yesterday I posted about a new perfume I picked up, but for most of May I was actually wearing Marc Jacobs Daisy. It’s a great spring perfume because it’s a light floral scent. I don’t think it’s right for me everyday, but I did love how light and fresh it smelled. I keep this rollerball in my purse so I can apply on the go!
Duo Lash Glue
For my brother’s wedding in the beginning of May I wore fake lashes for the first time in a long time. I had them on for….almost 12 hours too! Lucky for me, the make up artist doing the bride’s make up offered to apply my lashes for me free of charge since it was my glue and my lashes. I’d bought the Duo Glue because I’d heard raves about it everywhere, and damn does this stuff work! It dried clear, and my lashes stayed on all night!
Dior Addict Lip Glow in Pink
I’m nearing the end of this beloved tube!! I try to not use it TOO often because it’s a bit expensive, but I reached for it a lot all month. The light pink juicy shade is great for spring. It hydrates the lips but offers a bit of color which looks beautiful. I’m definitely going to have to repurchase it when it runs out. It’s too good to not have.
There you have it folks, May Favorites! I hope I don’t fall behind again!
