I thought I wasn’t going to get this post up in time because my computer crashed right after I uploaded the pictures. Then iPhoto kept (and is still saying) my library is unreadable. Luckily, thanks to the magic of Apple, the pictures went to my photo stream so I could upload from the phone! They aren’t really edited the way I wanted, but we’ll make do, it’s not the end of the world. It is the end of some products though! I finished a lot of stuff the last week of the month which was great. On to the trash! (Er, recycling.)
Acure Moroccan Argan Stem Cell Conditioner
I think I picked this up because I’d heard some people say it was their favorite conditioner. I tend to go through conditioner faster than shampoo, so I just had the conditioner while I used the last of a shampoo bottle. I found it didn’t do much for my dry, thick hair. I need a more intensely hydrating conditioner. I think it’d be good for people with fine hair though. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the smell.
Andalou Naturals Meyer Lemon Creamy Cleanser
This cleanser was my morning cleanser, and lived in the shower. Like a lot of other Andalou products, I loved the scent; very fresh and lemony. It cleaned my skin without feeling over dry. It was the perfect thing for the mornings. I’m trying out another cleanser now, but would definitely repurchase. I think my mom actually has a bottle of this in the guest bath at her new house, so I can use it there too!
Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil
I am officially a cleansing oil convert, but still haven’t found the perfect one. I like this one from Julep more and more as I used it, and I actually already bought a second bottle because it was on sale. I’m actually using the one from The Body Shop right now though, and well, not really liking it. The Julep oil was good at getting make up off as long as I wasn’t wearing anything too long wearing. There was little scent, and it lasted a pretty long time.
Rimmel ScandalEyes Liner in Nude
It got to a point where this eye liner was looking too nasty to use, so it’s time to part ways. I used this nude liner from Rimmel on my waterline almost everyday to brighten up my eyes. It’s easy, it stays put, it’s cheap. What’s not to love?
Sephora for OPI Nail Polish
I’m in the process of really trying to clear out my nail polish collection. To do so, I’m reaching for colors I know are a little old, and seeing how they perform. I love this red color, but it’s obviously old since Sephora fro OPI doesn’t exist anymore. I wore it last week, and it started chipping almost immediately so it’s time to say goodbye. I have a really similar one from Julep anyway.
Tocca Hand Cream in Cleopatra
If I remember correctly, this hand cream came in a Birchbox or Ipsy bag awhile ago. It became my purse cream, so it took awhile to use. I didn’t even like it, so I don’t know why I didn’t get rid of it sooner. I found it greasy and overly scented. Tocca makes nice perfumes, but I don’t really like scented hand cream.
Deep Steep Bubble Bath in Lavender Chamomile
BUBBLES!! I’ve started to become quite the bath lover. As long as I can get the water the perfect temperature and have a glass of wine, it’s quite enjoyable. I picked up the Deep Steep bubble bath in lavender because lavender is my favorite product scent. I got a lot more uses out of this bottle than I expected, meaning its a much better run for my money than a bath bomb. It bubbles up quite a lot and doesn’t leave any kind of film on my tub! I just bought a new scent which I look forward to trying soon!
Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Lotion
I’m super forgetful when it comes to lotion, which is weird because I have dry skin! My goal this winter is to not let dry, flaky skin happen. Luckily I’ve got lots of lotion. I wasn’t a huge fan of this Shea Moisture one because of the scent. It was very strong and perfumey. I don’t mind a slight scent, but this just lingered too long. It was very thick, and hard to get out of the bottle, but DID hydrate my skin!
