At one point this month I thought I wasn’t going to finish any products, but I guess I was wrong. At the last minute everything started to be empty! Well I’m happy because it means I have a post to write and plenty of new products I can start using as replacements. I was really hoping to finish up a few lip products this month, but it’s just oh so hard. I did finish two make up bits though!
Bliss Foot Patrol Cream
So let’s talk about feet for a second. I like to use a pumice stone thing in the shower at least once a week, but I almost never wear open toed shoes so it doesn’t really matter too much what my feet look like. I had this Bliss foot cream on my nightstand forever, and it’s FINALLY done. Can’t believe how long it lasted. This minty cream keeps feet hydrated, but I found it didn’t sink into the skin fast enough. If I didn’t put socks on right after I’d have slippery feet.
Trader Joe’s Nourish Spray Sunscreen
I love spray sunscreen since it’s so much easier to apply. I bought this pretty big bottle from Trader Joe’s last year, and just finished it. I don’t wear SPF 50 everyday, but when I’m by the pool or know I’ll be outside for a long time I opt for this. It sprayed evenly, dried fast, and most importantly kept me from burning! Pretty sure they don’t make it anymore though… 😦
Lancome Bi-facil Eye Make Up Remover (Mini)
I won a bunch of Lancome bits earlier this year, and used them up slowly. When I was solely used Micellar water to remove my face make up, I needed something meant for water proof mascara to finish the job. I’d use the Bi Facil before and knew it worked super well. It was great having this mini size to get my mascara off. A full size is expensive, but it REALLY does the job.
John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner (Travel Size)
I haven’t been a monthly box subscriber in….over a year? But I’m still making my way through minis. I had this set of John Frieda shampoo and conditioner in my travel bag for oh so long. I wasn’t a fan. I don’t have damaged hair since I don’t use heat or color. I thought it would still work for me since I have dry, curly hair. But no. This was too intense for my hair. It made it feel too clean? Does that make sense? I am much happier with my Giovanni products, which I’ll have to decant into travel bottles!
Suntegrity Tinted Face Sunscreen (Mini)
So I LOVED this tinted moisturizer (and now that I think about it, I might have another mini somewhere). This is an SPF 30 tinted sun cream that actually has A LOT of coverage. It’s very thick, so it’s a little hard to blend, but I love the amount of coverage it gives. I’m a little upset it’s $45 for a full sized tube…that’s just SO much for something I’d really only wear on the weekends. It was voted one of the best sunscreens by EWG and is packed with good ingredients. Ugh, I really need it.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
Well this little tube sure has seen some love. I mostly used the Wake Me Up concealer under my eyes. I don’t have very dark circles, so I just used this to add a little light to the area. It’s on the liquidy side, which makes it easy to blend. It doesn’t offer the most coverage, so if you have something to cover, I’d suggest using something more pigmented. I really like this, but they actually don’t sell this line in the US. If I can get my hands on it I’ll buy another tube, but in the mean time there are plenty of other good concealers to try!
