I don’t have a lot of time in the mornings, so I like to have a few make up looks in my brain that I know I can throw on in just a few minutes and not have to worry if it works or not. These kinds of looking use very few products, and those products are usually some of my favorites. I’ve been wearing this look at ton in these warmer months because it brings out my tan and looks light and fresh for a work day. I don’t like wearing too much day to day, so this look is the perfect go to when I’m too tired to think!
The Eyes: Urban Decay Blunt Eyeshadow Single w/ Black Liner
Here it is, my all time favorite eyeshadow! Blunt was one of the first shades I got when I first started wearing make up, and I repurchased this new one last year. UD eyeshadows are the perfect formula, so creamy and easy to blend, and very pigmented. I love Blunt because it’s a light gold but you can really see it on the lid. It’s great for everyday work make up, but can be turned into a night look with some dark brown in the crease. I tend to apply black liner on the upper lash line to beef up the lashes, any liner will do!
The Cheeks: Milani Luminoso Blush and The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 001
Milani Luminoso might be the most famous drugstore blush right now. Like, who HASN’T talked about it? When I’m tan, I can’t say no to this color. It’s very pigmented and has a good amount of shimmer so you don’t need a highlight. The light peach shade brings out the warmth of a tan and gives a natural looking glow.
I’m not one for contour, and can be afraid of over bronzing. The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 001 is a very light shade so there is no worrying. I just apply some on the cheeks and temple to add more warmth and dimension to the face in a simple way. Sadly my compact broke so it’s starting to dry out. I’ll have to get a new one soon!
The Lips: Maybelline Color Whisper in Pin Up Peach
Turns out Maybelline stopped making the Color Whispers. Sigh. Lucky I have 3 that I love. Pin Up Peach is my favorite shade, and is actually one of my all time favorite colors. I bought two more on Amazon so I should be good to go for a while. I love how the peach shade goes with the peach cheeks. It helps great an all over peachy glow that looks especially summer. The formula is so silky and wearable, and the color isn’t too intense that you have to think about it all day.
I tend to wear this specific make up look much more in the spring and summer because the colors are light and fresh.
