Oh I do I have a post for you today. I had to delete like half the pictures I took because I just took WAY TOO MANY. This babies are beautiful. Today, we’ve got the Butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons. But not just one. We’ve got 7. Butter London so graciously sent me 7 of their Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons to try out, and I couldn’t have been more excited. I’ve tested a few of the colors out so I’m an expert on these now. Let’s get to the review! There’s a giveaway at the end!! Butter London is one of my favorite nail polish brands. I don’t have too many shades, but the ones I have are some of my favorite colors. I really want some shades from the High Tea collection, but honestly don’t need any nail polish right now! The shades that the Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon come in are the same as nail polish shades, which I think is such a cute idea! My favorite nail polish I have is Trout Pout, and now it comes in a lip color!! The crayons are not wind up. They have to be sharpened, but they come with a sharpener in the cap!! I totes forgot to take a picture of that, but trust me, it’s there. The Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons are a 3-in-1 formula. The precision of a liner, shine of a gloss and coverage of a lip stick. Right off the bat, I will say they definitely do ALL three! The thin, sharpen-able crayon makes it easy to get the right shape for the lip. The creamy formula is glossy and smooth but sticks to the lips like a lipstick. Some shades have more coverage than others. I would say they have decent staying power, but wear off patchy. I reapply or at least see how things are looking every 2 hours or so depending on what I’m doing. The darker and brighter colors stain a bit which looks nice. They are not drying at all, and are in fact quite hydrating for a lip stick. Uhm, could they be more beautiful? I love the black and white packaging with the colored bit on the end. The color on the end matches up very similarly to the product color. OK SWATCH TIME.
Teddy Boy is a rosy cream. This is a definite favorite for me. it’s very wearable with just enough brightness and color.
Tea With the Queen is a light nude cream. I’m not a huge nude lip wearer, but this shade is quite nice. It isn’t too close to my skin color and has a bit of pink running through it.
Primerose Hill Picninc is a tropical pink creme. This color is crazy awesome. Not for everyday but a great shade to have around.
Disco Biscuit is a bubble gum pink creme. Bubble gum is the perfect way to describe this. It’s bright and fun but isn’t too crazy.
Toff is a red grape creme. This color comes across more brown to me in real life. It’s not a shade I would normally wear but would be nice in the cooler months.
Ruby Murray is a deep berry creme. I found this shade to go on more sheer than the other shades. I love berry colors and will where this a lot in the winter.
Trout Pout is an light coral creme. My definite favorite. A fun coral shade that is still very wearable for everyday. Trout pout, Toff, Disco Biscuit, Tea With the Queen, Teddy Boy, Primerose Hill Picnic, Ruby Murray Butter London sent me TWO of every shade. I am giving away 3 to TWO lucky people. The 7th shade will be kept for a different future giveaway. Comment below what shade you would DEFINITELY want to receive. You will receive that shade plus two others.
