The High End Beauty Wish List

So pretty soon I’ll be making a little more money month to month. Just a little. I really want to do some saving, for both the future and for hopefully a vacation. But let’s be real, some of it is going to go to beauty. There are a bunch of high end beauty items I’ve been wanting forever, but just can never justify the price. I now have a plan to every couple of months buy myself a big budget item from my wish list. (With I’m sure plenty of less pricy purchases in the middle). Here are a few items that will be my first purchases when I have the money!

bobbi brown full coverage face brush

Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush $44

I change my mind A LOT about foundation application. I was a sponge user for years before I discovered the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. Then I found a Beauty Blender dupe and said good bye to brushes. Now I’m back on the brush band wagon again. Anna talks about the Bobbi Brown Full Coverage Face Brush all the time, and it looks just oh so nice. $44 for a brush is crazy, but I’m sure it will last a long time!

chanel vitalumiere aqua

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation $47

I’m like years behind the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua bandwagon, but I still want to catch up! When I first started watching YouTube a lot, I feel like everyone was talking about this foundation. It seems like an interesting formula, and especially great for summer since it is light weight. I just want to feel fancy and have Chanel things!

kiehls creme de corps

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter $38+

The first time I went into a Kiehl’s store I felt very overwhelmed. So many interesting products, and way out of my price range. I still remember seeing the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter, and fell in love. It looks like frosting, smells amazing but not overpowering, and comes in a large tub you just want to dive into. There are two sizes and the smaller is $38…for a body lotion. This is crazy. I’ve wanted it for years.

by terry misty rock

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock $43.50

Do I even need to explain this one? Who isn’t talking about Misty Rock on YouTube?! I love purple hued shadows with my brown eyes and hair, this color is right up my alley. Everyone says the formula is amazing, easy to blend but stays in place all day. Everything about it looks luxurious. Will definitely buy this from the Birchbox shop to get the points!

hourglass ambient lighting powder

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder $45

I’m so behind on every make up and beauty trend. I spend so little money on make up, so I only get a few new fancy things a year. I’ve wanted the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders since day one, and the hype doesn’t seem to have ended. I’m still not sure which shade I want, but I know I want it to look natural, and be able to be used all over the face. I’m pretty sure this will be my first expensive purchase!

chloe eau de perfume

Chloe Eau De Perfume $75+

Can someone tell me why perfume is so expensive? Chloe starts at $75. A big bottle is over $100. I smell the Chloe scent every time I see it, and I really really love it. I really don’t want to have to spend so much on perfume, but all the ones I want are this much or even more. Ugh! I think this will make a great everyday scent that won’t get boring. Should I just bite the bullet and get the big one since it’s a better deal in the long run?!

What are some of your big ticket wish list items?

  1. The Bobbi Brown brush is amazing, so good for foundation! I love the By Terry Ombre Blackstar too, such a pretty shade! I really want to try the Chanel foundation too and the Hourglass powder, sounds so good!

  2. That Bobbi Brown brush looks incredible, so full, so soft-looking. On the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, I have one and I almost never use it. The MUA at Sephora picked the shade for me & I don’t think it’s right but it’s too late to return it, boo hoo
