Happy June! June? JUNE?! Where does the time fly!? May was hot, hot hot. Luckily this week is supposed to be more spring like again, but I’m sure it will just get hot again! I’m proud of myself for another empties filled month. I seriously always think I won’t have a lot of empties, but I always end up with the perfect amount for a post. This month’s empties feature a lot of products I will truly miss, and must repurchase soon. Hate when I finish something I actually love!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation in N3 (Top 14 of 2014)
I had just recently mentioned this product in my “Project Pan” post. I’m trying to use up some of my make up that is getting old or doesn’t have a lot of product left. I was using the L’Oreal True Match foundation almost everyday for quite some time. The color was a good match for my skin, added glow, and didn’t feel heavy. I’ve used L’Oreal True Match on and off for years and will probably end up repurchasing again later.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Sandstorm (Full Review)
I usually buy just some random powder whenever I run out of a setting powder. I’ve never really found one that wowed me enough to repurchase. I picked up the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder because it’s cheap and Tanya Burr raves about it. While I did like it, I wouldn’t repurchase. It was very finely milled and kept me matte most of the day. My problem was really the packaging. The lid broke very early on, and the powder became hard and dried out. (It ended up breaking and falling out) More durable packaging would be better!
Paco Rabenne Lady Million Rollerball Perfume
I had the full size perfume bottle of this scent for awhile too, and am now so sad to have run out of my rollerball. I sort of randomly picked up this scent from Sephora and became obsessed. It was the perfect combo of sweet and citrusy. They don’t seem to sell it at Sephora any more, but I’ve seen it online at discount perfume shop. Wish it was still at Sephora for easier shopping!
Lancome Renergie Lift Multi Action Concentrate
I had a few samples of Lancome products for awhile, and just when I finished them I was given a few foil packets at a street fair. I started out with this serum like product because it was new to me. I’d tried samples of other products from the Multi Action Line, and felt the same way about this product. I do feel like it works (with extended use) but they are full of chemicals and are super expensive. Maybe if I was older I would use something this intense, but for now I’ll stick to more gentle skin care.
DHC Coenzyme Q10 Cream (Full Review)
Definitely a new favorite company for me, DHC has some great skin care. I was using the DHC CoQ10 for awhile in the fall, then picked it back up again late this winter. The cream is lightweight which is good for me as it didn’t clog pores. I could have used a little more moisture during the dead of winter, but for normal temperatures it was great.
Heritage Store Rose Petals Rosewater (Natural Products #1)
I’ve been using the Heritage Store Rosewater for quite a long time now. It’s so cheap, smells great, and feels nice on the skin. I usually spritz my face after make up application, but also love it as a mid day pick me up. I had this larger bottle for a long time and was sad to see it was finished. I’m going to buy another bottle in my next Vitacost order, but for now I’m using another spray I have around.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (Full Review)
Just a coincidence I finished both DHC products in the same month. Okay, so I started using the DHC Cleansing Oil in SEPTEMBER. And I just finished it! A little goes a long way with this baby. I used not even a full pump every night to remove my make up. It removed my mascara with ease and then washes off with a little water. I’m now hooked on cleansing oils, and want to try more!
