Today I thought I’d throw in a quick post about a perfume I’ve actually had for awhile. Sometimes I realize I have items I use frequently but never talked about on the blog for one reason or another. So today I bring you the Pink Sugar perfume which I’m sure you’ve seen. I bought this maybe a year and a half ago. I definitely don’t use it every day, but I do love it so I thought it deserved a place on the blog. Plus I’ve been using it a lot this month!
Stylish and lively, with a distinctive personality, Pink Sugar takes you on a journey through the pleasures and flavors of childhood with a playful blend of vanilla and caramel.
Bergamot, Sicilian Orange, Raspberry, Fig Leaves, Lily of the Valley, Licorice, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Cotton Candy, Vanilla, Caramel, Musk, Wood, Powder.
Playful. Mischievous. Romantic.
All my favorite perfumes have bergamont and vanilla. Here we have the added deliciousness of caramel and more fruity scents!
When I was in 6th grade I got my first perfume. I don’t remember the name of the brand, but I know it was from Sephora. It came in a neon pink bottle, and smelled like sugar. When I got a sample of the Aquolina Pink Sugar perfume, it reminded me so much of that scent. Smelling like sugar may be weird as an adult, but sometimes it’s just the perfect scent!
One time when I wore this I hugged a friend and he went “YOU SMELL LIKE DONUTS!!” and I guess that’s a good compliment. I love sweet scents, but this has the slightest bit of burnt sugar scent to it which makes it more wearable.
I like this scent for the weekends because it’s fun and unconventional.
Go give it a whiff, and you might love. But it’s probably not for everyone. I wish I had a candle that was this scent…oh that’d be great!!
