Posts and posts recommending different products here and there can make real stand out products get lost in the shuffle. I’ve started to become known as the beauty expert at work, with family and with friends. There are a few products I seem to recommend more than others because I truly do love them, and believe they can work for other people. Today I want to point out 5 of those products that I think you should try!
Zoya Nail Polishes
I’ve got a good handful of Zoya polishes, and I’m pretty darn in love with all of them. There are three main reasons why you should try them. 1. Color choices. My Zoya polishes are highly loved because they are just the perfect colors. I’ve got the perfect creamy blue, the perfect bright pink and a few great nudes. You need an exact color for an event or nail design? Zoyas got it. They have every shade you’d ever need. Ever. Also lot’s of different finishes, glitters, ect. 2. The price. $9 a bottle. Not super cheap, but no where near prices like Chanel or Butter London. I feel like I’m getting exactly what I paid for. You can also find them a little cheaper when they have sales and such. 3. 5 free. Zoya nail polishes are free of the 5 main harmful ingredients found in other nail polishes. This is becoming more and more common, but always good to know a brand cares about what I’m breathing in and putting on my body.
Urban Decay Eye Shadows (Single pots)
Everyone’s got a naked palette or three, but what about Urban Decay’s huge selection of single shadows? My love of make up started with these babies. I had like 10-15 of them in high school. Today, I’ve got a couple that are my go to shades and great for travel. (Try Blunt and Smog). They come in so, so, so many colors, you could find exactly what you’re looking for. The formula is butter soft and not powdery at all. I’m thinking I need to buy a few more!
I’ve got a handful of favorite drugstore lip formulas, and these ones from L’Oreal definitely make the top of the list. I’m not sure how highly loved these are in the beauty community, but I really love them! The Wet Shine Stains go on like a gloss but leave a stain on the lips that lasts a few hours after the color wears off. I’ve got one in a lighter shade, plus a few bright ones and I like the look of them all.
My purse compact, it’s a keeper. I was just thinking the other day that I will definitely repurchase it when I finish it, which could still be awhile out. The Pro Finish powder is silky smooth and finely milled. I find it go on top of foundation really well. I use it mostly for touch up during the day. It gets rid of shine and covers up spots that may have poked out throughout the day. When I first bought it I used it over tinted moisturizer a lot. It adds a lot of coverage but doesn’t feel heavy.
I feel like I keep talking about the NARS Creamy Concealer, but it’s worth it! It’s really the perfect concealer. A little dollop goes a long long way, and covers everything you need it too. I didn’t realize how much a concealer could really cover until I started using this. Life forever changed. I wish there was a little more color range, but so far the shade Custard has been working well for me.
