There are a lot of products out there. And some of them are expensive. It can be hard to figure out sometimes which ones are really worth the higher price tag, and which ones could easily be passed for a cheaper alternative. I don’t buy expensive products very often, and when I do, I do a lot of research first. Today I’d like to show you 4 products with a bit of a higher price tag that I think were worth the investment, and that I get a lot of use out of!
Dior Lip Glow $33
Sometimes products just seem so interesting and unique, I just have to try them. But sometimes they are $33 tinted lip balms. I think I wanted the Dior Lip Glow 70% for the packaging. It’s so pretty and girly, I just had to own it. The Dior Lip Glow is pretty much a tinted lip balm. It goes on clearish and turns into a cheery light pink shade on the lips. It keeps the lip hydrated along with a little bit of easy color. It’s a pretty unique product, had great packaging, and does what it says. And that’s why I think it’s worth it!
Stila Stay All Day Eye Liner $20
When I first got interested in liquid eye liner, I kept buying cheap ones from the drugstore. I figured since I didn’t wear it everyday and wasn’t very good at it, I shouldn’t make any investment. Then, for some reason or other, I decided I had to try the Stila Stay All Day liner. And I’m glad I did! I’ve had it for over a year and it hasn’t dried out. The tip is still in pristine condition and the color is just as black as day one. The cheap ones I would get from the drugstore were never very good. Spending a few extra dollars was definitely worth it in the long run.
NARS Orgasm and Laguna Duo $42
Unless you’re a crazy blush and bronzer wearer, I think this duo from NARS should be in every girls collection. I don’t think I could ever go through a full sized blush or bronzer from NARS, so I was excited to see this little duo of Orgasm and Laguna. I’ve used this so so so so many times, and I still haven’t hit pan. I love both shades so much, but think I would always go for the duo. Plus it’s great for traveling and has a huge mirror!
Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Primer $30
I somehow ended up with like 5 primers in my collection, and the Tarte Clean Slate Poreless one is for sure my favorite. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on my skin, but fills in pores and smooths my skin over beautifully. I just use a dab on my nose and chin before applying foundation. I think it works better than a lot of other primers because it really stays put and works all day. Once again, 2 points for packaging!
Have you tried any of these products? What product do you love that was most worth it?
