November Favorites 2014

OMG Am I ever going to get back on a real blogging schedule? Yes. Yes I am. I WILL! Believe it or not, I’m actually finishing up a Master’s degree right now. By the weeks end I’ll be done. With no homework or classes, that’ll free up almost 20 hours a week. I really look forward to dedicating that time to blogging. Might take a little break for the holiday’s, but come New Year, it’s going to be BLOG CENTRAL!

Andalou Naturals Pore Minimizer Clarifying Toner

I LOVE Andalou Naturals, and I’ve said it time and time again. I finally picked up the Clarifying Toner, from the same line as the serum I had fallen in love with. There’s something about this line my skin loves! The toner has a fresh, minty scent. It makes my skin feel so great and clean. I sometimes can’t stop wiping it on my face…The toner makes my skin feel extra clean and I know all the gunk in my pores is cleared out!

Deep Steep Lavender and Chamomile Bubble Bath

I just picked up the bubble bath a few weeks ago. I’d been eyeing the Deep Steep scents on Vitacost for awhile, and finally went with the Lavender and Chamomile scent. I always take baths at night so I wanted a relaxing scent. The product goes in just like any bubble bath, and fills the bath with lovely bubbles. I wish the scent was actually a bit stronger, so I usually add a few drops of lavender essential oil to boost it!

Roiel Cosmetics Marula Oil

I’ve already done a full post on this oil, so I won’t go into too much detail here. I love have oils on hand to help cure certain skin problems. I love that this Marula Oil is unscented because my skin can sometimes react badly to fragrance. The oil keeps my skin hydrated but doesn’t make it feel greasy!

Maybelline Red Revival

Cool weather means dark lip time. I don’t like going TOO dark, but Maybelline’s Red Revival is the perfect easy to wear dark shade. Too dark shades can be so difficult to wear. Red Revival is like the brightest red you would still consider dark. A little of this and an easy eye look make the perfect winter make up!

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eye Liner

Along with the above lip stick, a simple black eye liner is KEY. I finally am getting the hang of doing liquid eyeliner, and I have to thank Stila for that! I can do a thin line to thicken up my lash line, or a thicker line for a more dramatic look. I’ve had this for almost a year and it hasn’t dried up at all!

Real Techniques Buffing Brush

The real techniques buffing brush has been a favorite of mine for awhile now, but I was always using it with mineral powder. I was having some trouble with my foundation looking a little weird after application and thought a different brush may do the trick. Well, it did. I LOVE how the buffing brush applies liquid foundation! It feels soft on the skin and spreads the foundation out evenly and smoothly. I definitely need to get a second one!

Planning to start working on a 2014 favorites to post in the beginning of the new year. It’s been fun looking back at everything I chose as a favorite over the past 12 months and rethinking about which ones stand out the most!

  1. LOVED this post! What are you doing your masters in? Also, I have really bad pores and tend to get blackheads on my nose quite alot so that pore minimiser is definitely on my shopping list for free Christmas! 💕
