September Favorites 2014

And just like that. It’s October. 3 more months left of this year…that’s just crazy. The weather has finally cooled down, it’s official pants weather. I would’t say sweater weather yet. It was 80 degrees the other day. Some how my favorites for this month involve no make up! I haven’t been trying any new make up lately, and instead have been experimenting more with skincare. I ran out of a lot of skincare last month so this month I needed lots of new stuff. Don’t worry, I still love my make up though!

Giovanni Frizz Be Gone My dream life means I can wake up with perfect hair everyday. I’ve tried countless products ever since I was in middle school, but nothing ever seems to be able to give me what I’m looking for. I’ve gotten pretty close with this de-frizzing serum from Giovanni. Frizz Be Gone is a thick serum I apply to wet hair. The thick formula helps weigh my hair down, in a good way. My hair tends to get very puffy and frizzy, but two pumps of this in my hair keeps it very tame. Sometimes I can get away with only using this in my hair.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil– I did a full review on this last week, so if you want more info you can check that out! The DHC Deep Cleansing Oil was my first experience using a cleansing oil, and I’m sold. Not only is it super easy, but it really works! One big pump gets all of my make up off, and a little water washes it all away. I don’t wear a lot of long wearing or waterproof make up, so I never have any trouble getting something washed off. It is also super hydrating for my skin since it’s oil!

Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque- Ugh, can’t get that stupid CVS sticker off the pot! I’ve got a lot of hair, and it’s long. My ends have been getting really dry lately, so I needed a new hair mask that could pump them with moisture. Everyone on YouTube has mentioned their love for the Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque. Now, I don’t think I’m as obsessed as most of them, but I do like it! I find if I get any on my roots, it’s just entirely too heavy, but on the lengths of my hair, it turns my hair into magical silky strands.

Burt’s Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser– Another new product in my cleansing regimen! I’ve tried a few Burt’s Bees products in the past that I found to be really amazing. One whiff of this orange cleanser and I knew I had to have it. The main ingredients of the product are oils, which cleanse the skin but keep it hydrated. There is not lathering, which would normally dry out the skin. Definitely going to be a necessity come winter.

Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream– I’ve had so many eye cream samples, I haven’t had to buy any for over a year. I’ve never tried any Benefit skincare, so I was excited to try this eye cream from them. It is very light and blends into the skin very well. I don’t have any under eye problems, so all I’m looking for it something to keep the area hydrated, and this does the job perfectly.
