Natural Products #6

natural beauty products

I think I might stop doing these ‘Natural Products’ posts. No! I’m not going to stop using natural products! In fact, I’m going to use MORE. The majority of the new products I have been purchasing are natural, and it seems easier to give each of them their own product spotlight, rather than only give mini reviews in these types of posts. I’m thinking instead I’ll do some natural product spotlights when I have a few I absolutely love. Alright let’s talk about beauty now!

green hair products

Giovanni Frizz Be Gone

This product from Giovanni is a smoothing, anti-frizz serum. Something my curly locks desperately need. One or two pumps get distributed into damp hair for some serious frizz control. The serum is quite sticky, but with a little work covers each lock. I find on super clean hair, the product does not work as well. One or two days of build up, and I almost don’t need to style my hair because the serum has locked in enough moisture. The product is packed with hydrating oils and plant based ingredients for frizz fighting action that is good for your head!

Kiss My Face Moisture Shave in Green Tea and Bamboo

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m horrible at using shaving cream. I just can’t be bothered. None the less, when I heard this Kiss My Face product smelled like Aveda products, I knew it was meant to be. The formula is a goopy white creamy gel. It covers the leg (or whatever area your’re shaving) with a thin layer, but is thick enough to stay put in the shower. The smell is a lovely herbally, light scent that I could never get tired of. I’ve been using it for months and there is still SO much left in the bottle!

Aubrey Natural Missst Hairspray in Regular Hold

If you only need a spritz or two to keep some frizz at bay or a hair in place, this hairspray is the one for you. But if you’re looking for something that’s going to keep curls set all day long, you’ll need something stronger. The selling point for me, is the ingredients of this product. No harsh synthetics that are going to make your hair go crispy, and no strong alcohol that will dry the hair in the long run. Oh, and did I mention, this ALSO smells like Aveda products??

3 free nail polish, zoya nail polish

Zoya Nail Polish

Zoya nail polishes are 5 free, which means they are free of 5 of the harsh ingredients found in most nail polishes. They also create more colors than I thought even existed on earth. Need a coral? They got it. Oh wait, you need it the slightest bit more pink, yeah they have that. Some of my favorite colors in my whole collection are Zoya, and they are a joy to wear. I’ve never had a problem with chipping or pealing with these polishes. And the fact that they are free of harsh ingredients means I can repaint my nails every week without feeling suffocated by fumes!

  1. Nooooooooooooo I found Alba because of these posts! LOL, ok I totally understand why you wouldn’t do the “natural products posts. It’s too bad there are no days in the week that start with N… you could do a Naturally N day haha.

    1. I’m going to just do posts focusing on each product individually, so there will still be plenty of new brands to try out! When I have a few I really really love I’ll give them an extra highlight!
