Monday Manicure June 9th

opi don't talk bach to me

It’s finals week here in the life of Plastic Bows. I’ve one paper to finish by Wednesday afternoon, then it’s all about the boyfriend because he is GRADUATING!! I’ve know him since his freshmen year, and it is awesome to see him so excited to graduate and enter the real world (give him a job please.) I am taking summer classes, so it isn’t even that exciting that it is finals week. Still not sure what we are doing during the one week I have off….I am also super excited because my older brother is moving to NJ at the end of the month (he’s been in New Mexico for 2 years)!! Can’t wait to spend some quality time together.

Today I used another polish from my spring nail polish picks. (Summer one coming soon!) This shade is OPI “Don’t Talk Bach to Me” from the…Germany collection? I fell in love with this color when I first saw it because I thought it was so unique. Don’t Talk Bach to Me is a yellowy spring green with just a hint of shimmer when it catches the light.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn this shade on all of my nails at one time. I’ve used it a lot for nail art and accent nails, but I guess it never got the full treatment. I really love the color, but I’m actually not so sure how I feel about it on all the nails. Is it a bit…puke-y? Oh whatever, I’ll probably take it off on Friday so I have fresh nails for graduation day.

Looking forward to picking out some bright and fun summer nail options. It’s been too long since I saw a neon on my nail!!
