Spring is here finally, although it still is pretty cold! We have all been waiting for the weather to start warming up after this record breaking winter. Looking back at my Winter Wish List, I didn’t really get many of the things I wrote about. I bought a winter jacket which was a must have, and I DID get leather boots, but not really the kind I was looking for (although I do love them). I am definitely going to pick up a blender soon. I’m not very good at actually following my own wishes…This spring I wouldn’t be surprised if the same is true.
Mrs. Meyers Soy Candles
I currently have a Mrs. Meyers candle in the Basil scent and I am loving it! Mrs. Meyers scents are so fresh and clean, and REAL compared to a lot of other brands. The candles are made with soy wax and natural fragrance which makes them healthier to breath in as well. I love burning candles to freshen up my apartment. I am hoping to pick up the Lavender scent next! Pick up these candles on Vitacost for a discounted price. (Use my link for $10 of $30)
Trish McEvoy Blackberry & Vanilla Musk EDP
An old, old favorite. I first started wearing this perfume when I was 16 after a friend had received it as a gift. I fell in love with the scent immediately. I haven’t bought a new bottle in 2 or 3 years, and I have been craving it lately. I don’t want to buy a new perfume till I finish one I already have. Also, it’s $85 (which I think is more than it used to be) so I can’t just run out and get it. I know it used to come in a smaller bottle but I can’t find it anywhere! The scent is sweet, but not sickly sweet. The blackberry adds just enough depth and tartness.
Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner
I’ve been a Wen fan for a few years now. I always picked up the Sweet Almond scent from Sephora, but recently learned the other scents are targeted at certain hair types. After some investigating, I’m pretty sure Fig would be the right scent for me, which is great because I LOVE figs! Wen is a weird product, but I think it works really well for certain hair types. It’s a bit expensive, but it’s one of the few products I think is worth it.
Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color in Rosy
Essie from EssieButton mentioned her new found love for the Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color in the shade rosy. I thought the shade was just amazing, at least on her. I’d really like to check it out and see if the color looks good on me too. I think it’d be the perfect go to shade for the spring. Not too bright, not too nude, not too dark, just perfect!
Essie has also mentioned her love for Teapigs tea on her YouTube page. Currently it is based in England, but they are opening an office in the US (in NY?) soon, so I can order from there and not pay $15 in shipping. Essie makes these teas sound like no other, and I need to try them! The packaging is so freaking cute, I just want to stare at it. I am a big tea drinker, and would rather be buying something from an adorable company like this than Twinings.
What are you hoping to buy this season?
