Every month I am amazed about how many empty products I have, and yet my cabinets remain full. I’m trying to finish up a lot of hair care and skin care products that are unautral, in order to make room for new, organic, natural products. I wish I could go through make up faster. No one needs as much blush and lip gloss as I do.
I actually finished a lip gloss this month which is a miracle, and I have another with only 1 or 2 uses left.
Isn’t it weird how I am literally about to blog about my trash? But like, it’s interesting, right? Whatever.
Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion: The never ending bottle of lotion. I liked that this lotion was moisturizing, non greasy and had SPF. There really isn’t anything to complain about. I probably wouldn’t repurchase it though because I have so many other lotions to finish. If you’re looking for a simple, easy lotion, this would be a good one to try.
Dove Nourishing Oil Care Detangler: Best thing about this product is the smell. All the products from this Dove line have a nice smell. It is perfumey, but I found it nice. I would spray this all over my wet hair and brush it. My hair is naturally curly, so it tangles easily. If I plan on styling at all, I have to detangle. I bought a new Loreal detangler, so we will see how they compare.
Elizabeth Arden Clear the Way Mask: At first I was really loving this, but as time went on I realized it didn’t even work much. It is a scrub and a mask, but I was never really sure which one it was better at. Used it as both whenever I was having an acne prone week. I would like to try other Elizabeth Arden products, but wouldn’t repurchase this one.
Urban Decay DeSlick: I never understood the need for a setting spray until I used to Urban Decau DeSlick. It really helps keep make up set all day, and prevent any oil from appearing. I was using this for months, and loving it but think I’m not going to repurchase it for now. I am currently using a rosewater spray to set my make up to see if it works as well. I am interested in trying the other Urban Decay sprays.
Simple Cleansing Wipes: Like always, a pack of these in my empties bag. This was the last set I had of these wipes on stock, and I haven’t repurchased them yet. I will buy some soon, but for now I’m trying to use about a few other make up removing products. These are just so easy! I want to find a good make up remover not in wipe form though to decrease the amount of waste I produce.
Bath and Body Works Winter Spice and Vanilla Hand Gel: I always have an antibacterial gel in my purse. I live in a city and go on the subway so it is necessary. I love the ones from Bath and Body Works because they have nice smells. This one smelled so freaking good. It was like putting frosting on my hands. I have a bunch of these in my apartment, so I don’t need to repurchase for now.
Stila Lip Glaze in Pinata: I FINISHED A LIP GLOSS! I bought a pack of 3 Stila Lip Glazes last year. Pinata was my favorite shade. The other 2 will be finished pretty soon. They smell amazing. Like raspberry candies. At first I thought they were way too sticky. I started wearing it with a little lip balm and they are so wonderful. The color lasts awhile. I may repurchase this one next time I’m around a Sephora…
Covergirl Clump Crusher: This is one of the first mascaras I really noticed worked. The wand separates my lashes so well. It really does crush clumps. I didn’t feel it was very volumizing though.
theBalm What’s Your Type Mascara: For volumizing, I was using the theBalm mascara. It is very sticky, and clumpy. Using this first, then the Clump Crusher on top was a great combo. Kind of annoying to have to use two mascaras. Now, I am using a Revlon one, but I’m not loving it so far.
