I first heard about the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask from Essie Button and one day I was going to need it. A few weeks ago I finally bought it during Sephora’s VIB sale for 20% off. Honestly, I didn’t use it for about a week because I just wanted to stare at the box and have the bottle be unopened for a little bit.
During a much needed, mid finals, Sunday bath, I opened the box and put this too good use.
I’m in love.
REN is company that is new to me, but I think it is going to be a lovely (and expensive) relationship. REN products are free of parabans and sulfates, and even though they aren’t 100% natural, they are pretty close!
The Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask is a chemical exfoliant mask, that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, even skin tone and improve radiance! The 2 aspects of my skin I was hoping this would help are congestion and acne scarring.
After using this product just one time, my skin felt cleaner than it usually does. Before use my skin felt so congested and full of gunk, but the mask fixed it. I also have some acne scarring on my chin, and the next morning I felt like they had faded a bit.
The product makes your skin tingle a bit, as it is essentially eating away the top layer of skin to promote healthy growth of the new layer. If you have sensitive skin, I would not suggest this! If you’re looking for a product like this, try to get a sample first.
I’m looking forward to making this a staple part of my weekly, or bi weekly routine. REN, you may be my new favorite company!
I’m going to do a giveaway when I reach 200 WordPress followers and 50 Bloglovin followers! Help me out!
