Fall Make Up

Every season we switch up our make up. Bright lips in the summer, peach blushes in the spring…and for fall, berry tones and coppery warm shades. At least that’s what I do!

I like switching up what I’m wearing so that I don’t forget about things in my collection, and because when you haven’t used something in awhile, it’s like shopping all over again! This fall I’ve taken out some lipsticks that have been hidden away for months, and adding a bit more shimmer to my eye looks!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten: Mmm this color is delicious. It’s glossy, and a bright berry color. I love the formula of these stains. They go on really smooth, and last quite a few hours on.  This color is great paired with the blacks and greys I seem to gravitate toward during the colder months.

Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle: This is my most used lip butter, but Berry Smoothie is a close second. This color is a mauvey brown. I think it is very wearable because it isn’t too nude and it isn’t too pink. It’s my go to on days where I can’t be bothered to think about what lip color would look best.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Passion: First let’s talk about the smell. Does anything smell better? It’s a lemony, sour scent, that I just think is so unique. These balms are very pigmented but very easy to apply. The color is build-able so you can choose the amount of color. They are super hydrating which is a must for the cooler months!

Urban Decay YDK: Warm copper with red undertones. This is my favorite all of the lid for a night out.

Urban Decay Chopper: Light copper with orange undertones. Good everyday shade, a similar color was my go to throughout high school.

Urban Decay Bootycall: Peach tinted beige shimmer. Great as a highlight or for a simple look.

Laura Mercier Plum Smoke: Greyish matte purple. I love how this color accents my brown eyes. It is an easy color to wear alone or add some black to make it smokey.

Loreal Amber Rush: Warm copper with metallic finish. This color is amazing, it is so metallic, but can easily be blended out for a more day time look.

NYX Glitzy Gold Eyeliner: I recently dived into the world of gold eyeliner. These NYX ones are so creamy, just like the UD 24/7. This color is a bright metallic gold.

*MAC blush is getting dried out and didn’t swatch well, Bentint is too like to show up on camera*

MAC Blush in Desert Rose: This is a soft rosey brown matte blush. I think this color accents my skin color really well. I don’t always want pink or peach cheeks. This color looks much more natural on me. Sadly it is starting to dry out for some reason, but it reduces the risk of applying too much.

Benefit Benetint: I love this color so much. It also looks very natural on me. Benetint is a rose tinted stain. It can also be worn on the lips! It is my go to on days I’m just wearing tinted moisturizer and mascara.
