Currently Loving, Fall

For awhile, like…my whole life up till 2 years ago, I had never few bits of make up. I had one foundation, one powder, one mascara I rarely wore, and a handful of eyeshadows, but I always wore the same one. Now, I have more make up than I know what to do with. I decided, now that I have a more organized make up set up, that I was going to do a better job of actually using things.

So, for the past few weeks I’ve been switching things in an out of my make up routine. But here I have to show you the things that have stuck around because my face just wouldn’t be the same without them!

NARS Blush/Bronzer Duo (Orgasm and Laguna): Ya’ll know what this baby is. I used this all the time when I got it, and then it just fell to the back of my mind. I decided one day I wanted to practicing bronzing so I took it out, and realized Orgasm is the best blush to go with Laguna, so I started using them both all the time.

Dior Lip Glow: My life outside of my apartment consists of class and errands. For class, I’ll put on make up, lipstick, the whole shabang. For errands, who has the time? This is the perfect lip balm for a quick put together look. It makes your lips just the most perfect shade of pink, it’s magic.

Benefit Boi-ing Concealer: I think concealer is the make up item I have the most trouble with. Some are too thick, some are too thin. I think this is the closest I’ve come to the perfect one. It blends in really well, and stays all day. I’ve had a lot of problem spots lately so concealer has been my BFF.

Loreal Magic Nude Foundation: Somewhat new to the market, this was my go to foundation in the summer, and is continuing to be so for the fall. It’s just so easy…It goes on as a liquid, but blends into the skin to create a powder like finish. It isn’t super matte, but it doesn’t leave you looking like a grease ball either.

Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long Wear Mascara: This is the most separating mascara I’ve ever used, and I have a lot of clumping issues. I wish it was cheaper…what is nice though is that you can use it over any mascara to help de-clump. Also great for bottom lashes!

Pantone Precious Metals Palette: Sadly, this was limited edition, BUT is readily available on eBay. The palette is huge. Like iPad sized. The mirror is amazing for doing your make up in, but not ideal for travel. I love this because it has every color range I’d ever need. Greys, purples, rose golds…it’s all there! I use the top 2 rows the most, but the darker colors are great for blending and smoking. If you already have a large eyeshadow collection, this isn’t necessary. If you know someone who is getting into make up, teen or adult, this would be a great present!

Michael Todd Cranberry Antiox Toner: Do you have ‘problem skin’? Like redness…small bumps…then this is for you. Cranberry’s naturally have antibacterial capabilities which kill any germs on the skin and keep pores clean. It has a fresh scent and really make my skin feel like it is actually clean.

Tea Tree Therapy Tea Tree Oil: Tea tree oil is my faces favorite thing. It is a miracle worker on acne. I had spots on my face that wouldn’t go away, then I used tea tree oil and they were gone in days. It is all natural, and organic, so you can feel good about what you’re putting on your skin. It can also be used to clean wounds and what not, if that is something you care about.

  1. I love NARS Orgasm blush, I’ve been using it for a couple of years now and won’t use any other blush. It’s one of those perfect colors for pretty much everyone. I’m curious about the bronzer now.
