Empties, empties, oh so many empties. I feel like it never ends. Every month I am so proud I finished a bunch of products, but then I look in my bathroom, and there are products everywhere! I’m not really in a “no-buy”, mode but I am trying hard to resist the urge, and just use stuff up! It takes a lot longer than I think to finish things. Working on month 3 trying to finish a lipstick I’ve had for awhile, but don’t want to throw out.
14 items! Let’s go!
The first favorites of 2014!! How exciting! It is also almost my 1 year blog-iversary. Time flies when you’re blogging! January was a good month for new favorites, which gives me lots of hope for the new year.
Every month I discover a new product or two, but some of my favorites are ones that I had around and found a new love for. It is always great discovering great products in your own stash! Do you ever do that? Alrighty, lets get into these products…
During the winter, there are definitely certain types of products I reach for more often. I need more moisture to keep my skin from being flaky. I usually gravitate toward different colors in my make up, for a more wintery look. I just want things that are going to work. These are the items that have been getting me through winter so far…and it has only just begun!
I’ve had a mop of curly hair on my head for about 23 years now. That’s my whole life if you didn’t know.
I still remember by the day my older sister discovered hair mousse, and our lives changed forever.
I was in 7th grade, and since then, it has been my mission to find the best products for my hair. There is a never ending amount of products out there, and I’ll never be able to try them all. For now, I’ll just use these one. They work.
Every month I am amazed about how many empty products I have, and yet my cabinets remain full. I’m trying to finish up a lot of hair care and skin care products that are unautral, in order to make room for new, organic, natural products. I wish I could go through make up faster. No one needs as much blush and lip gloss as I do.
I actually finished a lip gloss this month which is a miracle, and I have another with only 1 or 2 uses left.
Isn’t it weird how I am literally about to blog about my trash? But like, it’s interesting, right? Whatever.
