My newest love. The Maybelline Color Elixir. Oh, how you beautiful you are…
I picked up one of these babies after seeing Essiebutton talk about them with so much love. I already follow in Essie’s foot steps when it comes to make up, so buying an Elixir was the logical next step. I put it on for the first time the second I left the store, and fell in love immediately.
Once upon a time I had a $20 of coupon at Sephora. Oh, what a wonderful thing to have. I spent entirely too much time planning the perfect items to get, to make sure I maximized my value and bought something I would really love.
In my attempts at using more natural products, I wanted to start trying some mineral products. I wasn’t a big fan of bareminerals, but I figured there was more to try.
Two of my favorite bloggers, Essie Button and Kendra have both raved about the Laura Mercier Mineral Powder. I was familiar with a few products from Laura Mercier and was happy with them, so I decided I would take a stab at the mineral powder. And I’m glad I did!
It’s all I think about.
My recent haircut got rid of the dry dead ends on my hair, but I really need to keep up with the conditioning in order to keep them soft and silky. My mom used to use the Queen Helene Hair Conditioning cream when she was younger because it was cheap and easy to find. Because the hair mask I was hoping to buy ended up being $50+ dollars, my mom bought this for me instead. It was like 5 bucks…
I first heard about the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask from Essie Button and one day I was going to need it. A few weeks ago I finally bought it during Sephora’s VIB sale for 20% off. Honestly, I didn’t use it for about a week because I just wanted to stare at the box and have the bottle be unopened for a little bit.
During a much needed, mid finals, Sunday bath, I opened the box and put this too good use.
I’m in love.
We all know Lush makes AMAZING bath bombs, but behind that row of rainbow colored, sweet scented bombs of relaxation, lay shelves and shelves of other body care items. I never bothered to pick up any of these items because they were a bit expensive and I found a lot of the scents to be really overpowering.
My love for tea tree oil has been expressed a few times on this here blog, so I decided to hop into the Lush store and expand that love a little further. The Lush Tea Tree water is a spray toner, with tea tree oil, and other natural oils. Tea tree oil is really great for acne prone skin. I picked this up for the days when my skin is overreacting, rather than covering my face in oil.
